In 2013, the New York City Department of Investigation tested the city’s voting system to see how susceptible it is to voter fraud. The results weren’t encouraging:
Ninety-seven percent of the barely disguised phony voters were allowed to vote unimpeded, and none was referred for criminal charges or officially reported to the Board of Elections. One can only imagine what a sharp operator trying to fix an election could do by flooding polling places with ineligible voters.
”Yeah, they should ask for your ID. I think there is a lot of voter fraud…
People think that it’s a liberal thing to do, but I take my vote seriously and I don’t want ten other people coming in negating my vote by voting for the other candidate when they’re not even registered voters.”
The majority of voters – Republican, Democrat, and Independent – who support voter ID laws don’t want their votes negated by voter fraud either, Alan.
This time it’s not just any Democrat, but the Democratic Commissioner of New York City’s Board of Elections, Alan Schulkin, who ought to know better than anyone about voter fraud taking place in his city.
Schulkin also goes against the party line by supporting a voter ID requirement, and says people are bussed around to vote at multiple polling places – “they put them in a bus and go poll site to poll site” – an idea regularly ridiculed by the Left-media as a right-wing fever dream.
“Yeah, they should ask for your ID. I think there is a lot of voter fraud,” said Schulkin, who elaborated on the types of voter fraud that are taking place in New York…
“You know, I don’t think it’s too much to ask somebody to show some kind of an ID…Like I say, people don’t realize, certain neighborhoods in particular they bus people around to vote,” said Schulkin.
