I’ll be talking about the sloppy DOJ complaint in the North Carolina Voter ID (et al) case on Tuesday November 12 at the Cardinal Club in Raleigh at noon and at Wake Forest Law School at 7pm. Both events sponsored by the Federalist Society.
The slop to which I refer is the wholly absurd claims that requiring in-precinct voting violates Section 2. And that’s just for starters. The complaint is noteworthy for the bald assertions without any supporting data. It reads like a press release written by a political operative, not by a litigator.
I’ll have more at both events. Details on both events are here.
