Senator John Cornyn spoke before my panel and had things to say about DOJ and DOD’s enforcement of military voting rights which the link below will provide more details.
He also sent a letter to Eric Holder today about the Voting Section’s enforcement prowess (“grossly inadequate”) in 2010. The full letter is here.
Thank you Mr. (someday President I hope) Adams for the information, and for displaying Senator Cornyn’s letter to Eric Holder of DOJ. It would be interesting to see a routine – maybe weekly – Status Update on Mr. Holder’s response that includes a Status Update State-by-State by individual State AGs. A chart published each week would help keep front and center our voting rights protection for our military, and keep those responsible in spotlight. Thank you very much for considering this request.
