How Eric Holder and Barack Obama Squandered the Promise of a Post-Racial America
” . . . The other reason the left fears discussion about the New Black Panther voter intimidation is that it breaks up the narrative of the last 50 years – that only some races have bad racial actors and only some races are victims. This is why Kristen Clarke of the NAACP has been so hostile to cases like United States v. Ike Brown and the New Black Panther case. She is part of an industry that has thrived by a static definition of oppressor and oppressed. At one time, her version of history was wholly accurate. But men are not angels, and every race has bad actors. . . .”

North Carolina backs off voter ID
Latest at the Bigs
My latest at the Bigs on the New Black Panther dismissal. A portion:
” . . . It is no accident that Loretta King, one of the central figures in the black panther dismissal, is also behind other nutty DOJ policies, including forcing the Dayton, Ohio police to hire cops that failed the test as well as signing a complaint to sue a school district for refusing to give 19 days of leave to go to Mecca. King emerges as the engineer who regularly sends Holder’s Civil Rights Division off the rails. . . . “
Voter ID passes in Kansas
Kansas City Star. The bill passed the House 111 to 11. A bipartisan bill obviously. It means a majority of the Democrats voted for Voter ID. This is a crushing defeat for all the forces that deployed to defeat voter ID in Kansas. Enormous effort was made to stop this bill. They managed to find 11 members of the House who agreed.

WFLA-AM Thursday – UPDATED
I’ll be on WFLA-AM Thursday morning in the 7am hour to talk about my latest at Pajamas Media.
UPDATED: Apologies – I received a number of emails this morning from the west coast of Florida saying I was not on WFLA-AM in Tampa. It turns out I was on WFLA-AM in Orlando. The official call sign for the station I was on is WFLF, but they brand themselves as WFLA-AM, obviously through joint ownership with the Tampa station. Apologies to all of you who emailed me. The Orlando version of WFLA is a blowtorch that covers almost the whole state so perhaps some danced along the dial and caught the interview anyhow.
