Justice Department Monitored Texas Elections Sat.

 Story here.  “Federal observers will monitor polling places in Dallas, Galveston and Jasper counties, according to a Justice Department statement released Friday.”

The monitoring of Galveston is part of an ongoing haggling of the Texas County.  Galveston has asserted a variety of rights on a variety of election issues.  That’s one of the reasons that DOJ is monitoring them.  Dallas and Jasper officials should consider this monitoring an early sign that their counties may be sued.
