A question for House Judiciary Chairman Goodlatte on DOJ Voting Section Attorney Dan Freeman

ElectionLawBlog post to an in-depth Daily Caller article and other commentary at National Review Online at the Corner.

My question for the Chairman: How does the Voting Section explain to you how they can fairly enforce the federal voting laws when such partisan behavior is exhibited by DOJ Voting attorney Dan Freeman.  Leading the boos at a national bipartisan televised event, the one day the people of the United States show the world the peaceful transfer or retention of power in our government.

Follow up Question:  How does an attorney, who supposedly swore an oath to the Constitution and equal protection under the law, fairly uphold the scales of Justice when he is willing to oppose one party with such vehemence and fury?  Do we trust attorneys such as Dan Freeman to objectively utilize the invasive powers of Section 5 in a fair and equitable manner?

There should be some explaining to your committee.
