Voter Fraud guilty plea in 2008 Presidential election: double voting

“Tarrell Campbell, 34, St. Louis, pleaded guilty to one felony count of voter fraud. He faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison and/or fines up to $10,000.”  Mr. Campbell voted in the November 2008 election in Illinois.  Then he apparently drove across the bridge to St. Louis and voted again.  More here.

Still more:  “Campbell’s public defender said, in court, that Campbell told the agents that he did not recall voting in Illinois at the time of his Missouri vote, less than two weeks later.  Campbell, who told U.S. District Judge Jean C. Hamilton that he has three master’s degrees, faces up to six months behind bars under federal sentencing guidelines.”   Three master’s degrees?

UPDATE: Looks like Tarrell can give up on plans for lawschool discussed here.

That’s the beauty of ‘early (and often) voting’! Not only do you have time to make sure your voice is heard several times, you also have time to ‘forget’ about your previous votes!

    Brilliant!!
