Hat tip to CA who wrote with the story and said “shouldn’t they be following the law rather than their conscience?” For more on that angle, don’t miss National Review’s post yesterday about what happens when attorneys in the Civil Rights Division follow their conscience instead of the law. The results are embarrassing for all involved.

“How Many Crimes Did the New Black Pathers Commit in Florida?”
PJ Rule of Law: “Now Florida officials may have a chance to do what Eric Holder refused to do — bring these New Black Panther gangsters to justice once and for all. . . . The New Black Panthers act like they are above the law because so far they have been. Americans are taking renewed notice of the New Black Panthers and the politicians who have enabled them. What sort of country have we become that racist uniformed thugs can stalk polls and threaten free citizens with mob arrest and murder? Is this a post-racial America, or a wicked reminder of a lawless age we thought we had moved beyond forever? So what crimes may have the New Black Panthers committed in Florida with their threats toward George Zimmerman? Let’s start with solicitation to kidnap.”
Injustice on WJR-AM Detroit Tuesday 10am
I will be on the 50,000 watt blowtorch, Detroit’s talker, WJR-AM in the 10 a.m. hour with a broadcasting institution, Frank Beckmann, to talk about Eric Holder and the lawlessness being advocated by the New Black Panther party. The signal of this class A clear channel station is staggering, from the U.P. to Dayton, from almost to Buffalo to South Bend.
Nebraska Voter ID moves forward with Governor Heineman (and not AG Bruning) leading the charge
The big photo ID debate is set to finally resume in Nebraska. And Governor Dave Heineman says publicly that photo ID laws are not an impediment to vote and are a step in the right direction. Republican Don Stenberg has come out in favor of the voter ID bill because it is going to be a big fight as Democrats try to filbuster.
Of course, there is nary a word from Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning, who urged the U.S. Senate in writing to confirm U.S. Attorney General Holder and Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Thomas Perez into their powerful positions within the Obama Administration.
The endorsements showed extremely poor judgement as both appointees turned out to be leading opponents of photo ID legislation across country.
While Politico says Jon Bruning was a liberal in law school who maintained a variety of liberal views, they don’t appear to include anything on Photo ID. So I am going to set my watch and see how long it takes for Bruning to come out in favor of photo ID in Nebraska.
Ready, set…..Go!!
Thanks for 2nd Rush Shoutout in a Week
Once again, Rush Limbaugh shouts out, and posts Injustice at his website. Rush:
“Well, not everybody, but the people making hay out of this are inflaming it and making it bigger — I mean, from the White House on down — rather than try to cool this thing off and slow it down and wait ’til we found out exactly what happened here.
But a $10,000 bounty. And the New Black Panther Party, don’t forget, is the group that intimidated voters in 2008 in Philadelphia and a number of other places, and lawsuits were filed against them for voter intimidation and the Obama Justice Department (the attorney general, Eric Holder) just threw the investigation out. He just brought it to screeching halt.”

Can’t resist any election story with a Coleridge allusion.
Another Conviction for [Mythical] Voter Fraud
Texas AG: DOJ VOT “twisted statistics”
Looks like folks are catching on to the pufferfish. Texas AG Abbott in the USA Today. “Attorney General Eric Holder used tortured logic and manipulated statistics to reach the already-rejected conclusion that photo ID requirements are racially discriminatory.”
