Injustice $13.14 at Amazon

I had been posting how the price of my book Injustice has fallen since Eric Holder objected to Texas Voter ID and I’ve been doing so much radio and TV.  Amazon detects sales spurts and discounts on top of them.  Last night I was on Boston’s blowtorch WBZ that covers most of the nighttime east coast talking about Voter ID. (Hope to post link soon)  And once again, Amazon has discounted further.  This morning it is $13.14 a book.  So there is no better time to get it.  And if you’ve been reluctant so far, consider that at such a low price, there is very little left for the author and publisher!

Attorney General Meese Takes Field Against DOJ Voter ID Position

Quin Hillyer has more.  “Former Attorney General Ed Meese and former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell, among others, under the aegis of the American Civil Rights Union, will launch a new campaign on March 22 called “ProtectYourVote.us” to “prevent election fraud by requiring a photo ID to vote in person.” They do so in the face of unprecedented actions by the Justice Department that will directly (and probably deliberately) help vote fraud, in the face of a concerted leftist campaign (including implicit union thuggery) against honorable private efforts to block vote fraud – and in the face of an NAACP appeal to Saudi Arabia, Cuba and China (!!!!) to pronounce voter-ID laws a violation of human rights.”

You keep waiting for DOJ and the civil rights industry to retreat on this.  They don’t realize the damage they are doing to themselves politically over very little.

Lawmakers in Kansas delay citizenship check for voter registrations

Apparently, legislators are just too busy to arrange a vote before the November elections.  A key lawmaker in Topeka appears to be blocking a vote on a
controversial Kansas voter I-D law. Secretary of State Kris Kobach has
been pushing to fast-track the voter I-D law in Kansas to get it in
place for the November elections.

“The Senate Ethics and Elections
Standing Committee will not be meeting again this year,” wrote State
Senator Terrie Huntington of Fairway
.  Full story here.

Michigan Secretary of State wants to close photo ID loopholes

Closing loopholes in Michigan’s photo identification laws for voting is one of the reforms Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson wants the Michigan Legislature to address.  Johnson said it’s possible today for someone to register to vote and then try to vote absentee without showing identification or signing an affidavit of identity.  story here.
