“Meet the Supreme Court matchmaker: Edward Blum”

An activist with an ability to match the right plaintiff with the right legal challenge has launched two landmark Supreme Court cases that will be decided this month, and verdicts in each could create legal “earthquakes,” experts say.  Edward Blum (whose last name is pronounced “Bloom”) is not an attorney. He’s a former stockbroker who now runs the Project on Fair Representation, a non-profit legal organization that is “designed to support litigation that challenges racial and ethnic classifications and preferences in state and federal courts,” according to their website.

“FEMA official charged with voter fraud”

A Federal Emergency Management Agency official has been arrested in connection with a voter fraud case in St. Johns County.  Michel
Pawlowski, 68, was named in a complaint last fall alleging voter fraud.
He lives in Maryland. His daughter ran for St. Augustine Beach city
commission and won.  Link.

It has not been a good month for federal agencies. And the hits just keep coming.

GOP’s Quin Hillyer Slams Farrakhan’s Involvement With Alabama Democrats

“In support of this “preclearance” requirement a group of Democrat Senators, Democrat local officials and Democrat Party officials have enlisted the help of the bigot Louis Farrakhan. The group is touring Alabama today with stops in Birmingham, Selma and Montgomery.

America has endured very few Attorneys General hostile to this institution, but Holder is one. . . “

Alabama Democrat Leaders Dig In: Section 5 Rally With Anti-Semite is ON

Leaders of the Alabama Democratic Party, including party leader Joe Reed, elected mayors, and two Alabama Democrat Senators are pushing ahead with plans to include the anti-Semite and racist Louis Farrakhan on a tour to support Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act.  The group, including Farrakhan, will visit Birmingham, Shelby County and Selma.  In Selma, they will cross the Edmund Pettus Bridge.  In 1965, the racists were on the far side of the bridge awaiting the marchers.  In 2013, the racist will be marching across the bridge in support of Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act.
