More on Daily Caller/Fox Race Bomb

Here is the Daily Caller story which broke last night on Fox.

PJ Media follows on with “More Race Incitement in Obama Speeches from 2007.”

“The revelation in the Daily Caller that Senator Obama gave a racially charged speech in Hampton, Virginia, to a group of black pastors in an unrecognizable dialect was discouraging but hardly surprising. This wasn’t the only nutty speech full of dishonestly and racial incitement Obama gave to a largely black audience in 2007.”

The Segregationist

Roger Simon has more.

“How else do you explain a statement like “We don’t need to build more highways out in the suburbs. We should be investing in minority-owned business, in our neighborhoods”? [emphasis mine]

That is not what most of us had in mind when we were involved in the civil rights movement. Naïve us. Our intention was that everyone should get to live wherever they wanted, even those suburbs. They were open to all. Forget ghettoes and barrios. Equality, brother, equality. How did that old Babs Gonzales song go — “We got a New Frontier, a man in the moon, but we ain’t got integration”?

Oh well, integration was a nice idea once upon a time, but to Barack Obama in 2007 it was already seriously outdated, if it ever had any value. And why should it? An integrated society is not easily broken off into equally easily manipulated interest groups like African-Americans or Hispanic-Americans.

Segregation pays — at the ballot box.”

Rush Limbaugh Kudos for Fund and von Spakovsky

Today Rush Limbaugh talked up Who’s Counting by John Fund and Hans von Spakovsky.

Down in the lower left corner of this blog, I’ve been tracking sales of four election law related books.  One is mine, which was released a year ago Thursday.  Another is Who’s Counting.  A professor’s academic press book is the third and Tova Wang’s virtually unread book is the fourth.  Naturally, Limbaugh’s mention caused sales of Who’s Counting to spike through the day.

A few observations about Amazon.com sales rankings.  Once your book is in the top 10,000, it has an inertia, both up and down.  It becomes harder and harder to move up, and falls are slower.  Wild jumps usually represent singular purchases. The wildest jumps represent bulk purchases by a single buyer.  And after your book has been out for a year, as Injustice has, it is fitted with “lead boots.”  That means that for any short duration of low sales, Amazon sends it down faster than recent releases.  The sales rankings have been up for a couple of months and a couple of observations.

The conservative media still has the ability to move product (and thereby the narrative) in ways other venues can ony dream of.  One mention on Rush and your sales explode.  Last time Rush mentioned Injustice it went to about #550, five months after release.   Fund and von Spakovsky’s book is moving in part because of the power of 50,000 watt talk radio – a forum reserved for people who report on voter fraud instead of deny it.  Today was another example.

10 North Dakota State football players plead guilty in election fraud case

The big question is whether the coach will suspend them for any amount of time from the field or simply have them run wind sprints after practice.  All fraudulently signed the name of another to a petition.  We will see whether the university takes the act of fraudulently signing petitions as serious as the courts.

Earlier today, 10 current North Dakota State University football
players pleaded guilty to violating North Dakota election law during
their first court appearance in Cass County District Court.

The
10 are: Lucas Albers, Aireal Boyd, Joshua Colville, Demitrius Gray,
Samuel Ojuri, Brendin Pierre, Antonio Rodgers, Bryan Shepherd, Charles
(C.J.) Smith and Marcus Williams.

Judge Douglas Herman
sentenced the 10 to deferred imposition of sentence, 360 days of
unsupervised probation, a $300 legislative fee, 50 hours of community
service to be completed by April 15 and a $25 community service fee.

Wisconsin ballots for military voters sent after deadline

HumanEvents reports on the situation and repeated failures by Wisconsin.  It also shows why the remedies required by DoJ in their consent decree with Wisconsin are inadequate to fix the problem.

…That’s because, as reported by the MacIver Institute, “At least 30 Wisconsin municipalities failed to send absentee ballots
to military voters before the 45 day deadline, according to former U.S.
Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Anthony Principi, and he’s demanding the Government This entry was posted in Uncategorized on by .

More double voting detected by True the Vote

TRUE THE VOTE ANNOUNCES NEW FINDINGS OF VOTER FRAUD IN OHIO, NEW YORK, FLORIDA AND RHODE ISLAND

HOUSTON, TX. October 2, 2012― True The Vote (TTV), the nonpartisan election integrity organization, today announces new research findings of voter fraud in Ohio, Florida, New York and Rhode Island. The Offices of Florida, Ohio and Rhode Island Secretaries of State, the New York State Board of Elections and the U.S. Department of Justice were formally notified of ballots cast simultaneously in both states for federal elections.

“Our initial belief that we had uncovered only the tip of the iceberg continues to be reinforced,” True The Vote President, Catherine Engelbrecht said. “Pew Research’s finding that 2.75 million Americans are registered to vote in more than one state continues to ring true. Unfortunately, we keep seeing more people possibly voting illegally. It’s important for voters to remember that no candidate or cause is worth a felony conviction. While some will no doubt commit the same fraud this year, we can find them in a matter of months. True The Vote calls on Florida, New York, Rhode Island, Ohio and federal officials to investigate and confirm our latest research.”

Ohio & Florida

Similar to last week’s findings of voters committing interstate absentee ballot fraud, True The Vote cross-referenced entire voter registration lists between Ohio and Florida and alerted appropriate authorities to voters with matching full names, birthdates, addresses and voting histories demonstrating ballots cast in multiple states in a single federal election.

True The Vote found more than 19,000 Ohio voters claiming Florida mailing addresses, according to state records. More than 6,390 people hold registrations in both states. True The Vote identified 534 individuals allegedly casting ballots in both Ohio and Florida. Today 34 cases were turned over to federal and state authorities.

“To his credit, Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has indicated he is taking steps to address the situation with respect to voter roll maintenance,” Engelbrecht said. “However, these findings are particularly troubling given Ohio’s wholesale approach to dispensing absentee ballots for all this year. This combination of poor voter roll maintenance, emerging evidence of interstate fraud and Ohio’s new policy of absentee voting for all could create a perfect storm. The last thing we want is a repeat of the 2000 Election – this time by mail.”

New York & Florida

True The Vote offers new findings of absentee voter fraud between New York and Florida. Citing a new sample of less than one (1) percent of upstate New York voters, TTV found 48,630 voters claiming Florida mailing addresses. Of that sample, more than 19,000 are registered to vote in both states. Today federal and state officials were alerted to 32 new cases of interstate fraud between the Empire and Sunshine States.

Rhode Island & Florida

True The Vote also reports instances of voter fraud between Rhode Island and Florida. After the comprehensive cross-reference process, TTV found 53 Rhode Island voters claimed Florida addresses. More than 15 are currently registered in both states, with two (2) having voted.

Federal and state laws were potentially violated as a result of these activities. Ohio, New York, Rhode Island and Florida each require voters to cast ballots corresponding with their permanent residential addresses. Federal law, specifically 42 U.S.C. § 1973i(e) clearly states that voters cannot cast more than one ballot in the same election.
