I’ll be on WFLA-AM Thursday morning in the 7am hour to talk about my latest at Pajamas Media.

UPDATED:  Apologies – I received a number of emails this morning from the west coast of Florida saying I was not on WFLA-AM in Tampa.  It turns out I was on WFLA-AM in Orlando.  The official call sign for the station I was on is WFLF, but they brand themselves as WFLA-AM, obviously through joint ownership with the Tampa station.  Apologies to all of you who emailed me.  The Orlando version of WFLA is a blowtorch that covers almost the whole state so perhaps some danced along the dial and caught the interview anyhow.

Congressman Frank Wolf has sent a letter to the Attorney General demanding answers he has sought for almost two years.  Congressman Wolf’s letter details four times that the Department of Justice pointed to the ongoing Office of Professional Responsibility investigation to deny him the information.  He points out that investigation is complete and now wants answers.  Congressman Wolf is the chair of the Appropriations Subcommittee which oversees the DOJ budget.

Florida has reversed the rules imposed by ex-Governor Charlie Crist that made it easier for felons to restore their voting rights.  Governor Scott has reversed them and has not sent them to the Justice Department for preclearance under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act.  The NAACP and the Advancement Project are demanding he do so.

This is one submission some in the DOJ might not want to see either.  A preclearance will anger friends.  An objection will infuriate everyone else.
