June 28 was a critical date in United States history. In 1776, the Battle of Ft. Moultrie began. At Pajamas Media I wrote about the improbable battle and the importance to American independence here. On this hot and blistering June day, it’s worth remembering those who made America possible.

Great article in the Washington Times on the Black Panther case. My only comment is the assistant attorney general, I believe, is named Tom Perrelli, and not Tom Perez. It is very inspiring to see that men of integrity still exist in our judicial system, God speed
