In Wisconsin: The Government Accountability Board’s Elections Division mailed postcards Monday to nearly 300,000 Wisconsin registered voters who have not voted in the past four years. This really shouldn’t be news. All states should be mailing postcards to voters to get the latest address information from voters to update registration information or to remove registrations for those voters that have moved from the state.
“Mailed 300,000 postcards” to verify active voters. This is why the GAB should enforce the “accurate and complete” completion of a voter registration form.
Thousands of registered voters in Wisconsin either do not enter their apartment number or enter it incorrectly. According to U.S. Postal Service…If the mailing address is an apartment building, the Postman does not need to deliver that piece of mail if the correct apartment number is not shown in the address. It is up to the individual mail carrier.
By allowing this policy of missing or incorrect apartment numbers to continue, the GAB leaves a tremendous loophole open for voter fraud.
