Hi…Thanks for all your efforts to ensure voting integrity. I am confused. I don’t understand how the feds are picking their battles recently. I mean I don’t think anyone generally goes into politics to hurt anyone, so I don’t understand how they pick who is going to be defended and who not. I mean, there is no investigation into the tactics that say conservatives felt were so underhanded regarding say Healthcare. Yet there is investigation into the responses to taxes and possible tax increases. How can one provoke with impunity and the other in outrage be called insulting or whatever? I am afraid I am not savvy on all the ins and outs…and certainly I am shocked and saddened by the very things the other side is so upset at. I share that grief and fear. I don’t know how something like this is resolved. It is like neither side hears what the other is saying and the politicians take acts that aggravate each other at the expense of the citizens. The innocent citizens. And then they use it for their advantage. It isn’t gun control. It is the total miusunderstanding of the spoken word and motivation between the two. It is like two planets..that far apart. I feel like a child must feel watching their parents fight and ready for divorce. Each side loves their view more than anything else. I see the democrats…grieved by assasinations since the sixties. Again and again. And then Con Agra, taking away their farmer labor base and the young people of the sixties left to wolves it seemed, and forming a base around political philosophies that could define them, if not farmer-labor..and as their leaders were killed they extended themselves more and more into corner where I can’t go. Homosexual marriage, transgender, drug legalization, amnesty for illegal immigrants, trying marines and seals and soldiers. I just can’t go there. And the other side, sometimes they get so vitriolic, based on corporate sponsorship. I am saddened by the media’s inteference in free speech and free press. How can a press in our country be free if the bottom line is what profit the owner makes and his buddies? And then extends that bias to all his radio stations and newspapers? It isn’t even a fairness doctrine, it is the ownership of media by businessmen that censor based on investors best interests. And that comes out on some radio shows. I am so tired. And scared of what is happening. People are starting to splinter off and lose it. I used to think that the net was the ultimate debate room, like in school with debate teams. But they have gone viral. And I don’t know how to stop it or bring any sense back into it. Laws are broken with no consequences and then, and this brings me full circle, other are targeted for investigations, right out in the open, and it seems based on politics, not crime, because surely there is much of that illegality all over the place.
