An astute military vet emails Election Law Center that it appears King Samir Shabazz, head of the Philadelphia New Black Panther Party, has been promoted to Lieutenant General.  Previously he was a mere Captain, based on his rank insignia.  In this recent video, King Samir sports his three new Lt. General stars on his uniform while holding a bottle of New Black Panther Spring Water.

Not long ago, King Samir Shabazz was a lowly Captain in the New Black Panthers.  You can see his two bars in this photo.  Congratulations on the promotion.

He must have sailed through Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel, Brigadier General and Major General during his year long “suspension” from the New Black Panthers. Amazing work.

Add witness intimidation to the stew in the Atlantic City vote fraud trial of a city councilman. 

“Superior Court Judge Raymond Batten said Small was trying to send a message to Detective Scott Orman by standing in a courthouse doorway and tugging twice on the lapels of his jacket as the trooper approached from a hallway Tuesday.”

Last night the Quin Hillyer piece on DOJ that has been making the rounds on electronic media was discussed on the O’Reilly Factor.  It’s not often that you hear an article in a publication like American Spectator discussed when you turn on the radio or flip on the TV over and over.   It is probably a testament to the first class prose of Quin Hillyer, someone who has mastered a craft:

“While doing all this, the Holderites operate the least transparent DOJ in decades, treat congressmen and independent agencies with contempt, and claim breathtakingly spurious “privileges” against disclosure of public information.  This isn’t law enforcement and it isn’t justice, but instead is subversive of both.”

The South Dakota Attorney General has announced there will be no charges of offering something of value in a plan on indian reservations to give away chili.  The Argus Leader:

“Republicans filed a formal complaint with Jackley after Democrats held early-vote chili feeds on three reservations in mid-October. They alleged that offering food in exchange to vote violated federal and state laws.”

This is a state level determination.  The Department of Justice could also look into federal charges of offering something of value to vote.

Rep. Debbie Riddle is so interested in voter ID, that she camped out all night long to get a bill filed.  Texas HB 16 will create a photo identification requirement in Texas.  If the bill passes, Texas should go straight to U.S.D.C. in DC to get preclearance and avoid the Justice Department altogether.   More in the San Antonio Express News here.  The Voter ID bill is first in line (1-15 are reserved for bills like the budget). 

WND scattershots some facts.  The substance is this: “New Haven, Dean argued, has allowed people registering to vote to use the ID cards as proof of identification. ‘While we have no proof that the recipients of these ID cards are illegal aliens, it seems likely since the mayor’s argument for the cards focused on helping illegals set up bank accounts and use other city services,’ she said.”

A few more bridges to be crossed here before the destination is reached.
