On South Carolina voter ID, Texas AG vows “We’ll fight to the end for ballot integrity”

From his Twitter site, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott laments DOJ’s objection to South Carolina voter ID law and predicts that Texas will be next in the coming offensive against voting integrity measures.  He tweets:  “We’ll fight to the end for ballot integrity.”

    C’mon, Abbott – we Texans don’t want to “fight to the end”, we want to assert our state’s right to establish voting procedures, including requiring a photo ID, which the Supreme Court has already upheld as reasonable and Constitutional.

    Let’s have that VRA Section 5 Preclearance lawsuit cued up and ready to file.
