Boston Globe.  A Bay State voter integrity group is encouraging citizens to show photo identification voluntarily when they go to vote.  It is not a requirement in the state, but they want citizens to volunteer to show it.  Their encouragement is drawing fire:

“Some Latino advocates, however, said the billboard and the observers are meant to intimidate Latino voters, especially newly registered immigrants.”
